My most recommended products

Whether you're building a baby registry, stocking up on essentials, or just curious about what gear can make your parenting journey smoother, I've got you covered! I've pulled together my top recommendations for all those essentials like bottles, pumps, pacifiers, teethers, and more. These are the items that have stood the test of time with families I work with and come with the extra support or flexibility you might need. From feeding tools to soothing accessories, this list will give you practical, trusted options so you can feel confident in each choice for you and your little one.

Breast Pumps

When choosing a pump, it’s all about finding one that fits your unique needs and situation. For building supply, exclusive pumping, or boosting a low supply, a standard electric pump is usually my top recommendation. Wearable pumps are fantastic once your supply is well-established, offering convenience without being tied down. And if you’re traveling, in a pinch, or simply looking for quick relief from early engorgement, a manual pump can be a lifesaver.

You really can’t go wrong with any version of the Spectra pumps.

This is just one of many styles of the MomCozy pumps, choose what style you think will work best for you.

Having a manual pump can come in handy in those early days when you are just needing to pump a little bit to relieve engorgement.

While this is considered a pump, it is a passive suction so it should really only be used to relieve engorgement or occasionally when you are wanting to collect a little extra milk while feeding.

Bottles

Here are a few of my recommended bottles! When selecting a bottle, look for a nipple that gradually widens from tip to base and has a rounded shape at the tip, as this design tends to be more breastfeeding-friendly. Another thing to keep in mind is that breastfed babies usually don’t take more than 5 ounces per feeding, so there’s no need to buy larger bottles. And when it comes to nipple flow, stick with the slowest flow nipple for the entire bottle-feeding journey—it helps keep baby’s pace more natural and similar to breastfeeding.

You can also find these in glass.

This is another option that you can get in glass.

These can also be purchased in glass.

Pacifiers

Here are the pacifiers I usually recommend! The criteria for a good pacifier are actually quite similar to those for a good bottle.

I hope this list of recommendations gives you a great starting point for finding the best baby essentials! Remember, every family’s needs are unique, so choose what works best for you and your little one.
